Rev. Ben Nti, Pastor

​

The Reverend Bernard Nti is the current minister at Westmont Presbyterian Church.  Rev Nti was originally born in Ghana and currently a US citizen. 

Rev. Nti, affectionately called Pastor Ben, received his MDiv degree at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and was ordained in September 2018. In obedience to God, Rev. Nti accepted his first call to serve two rural American churches at First United Presbyterian Church, Malcom and First Presbyterian Church, Brooklyn in Iowa. Prior to his call, he served as a chaplain resident to the Veterans at the VA hospital in Pittsburgh. 

 

In September of 2021, he became the pastor and head of staff at Westmont Presbyterian Church, Johnstown, PA where he is continuing to minister as a missionary, serving the church, the community and the country as God's hands, and feet and voice.

 

Pastor Ben has distinguished himself as a preacher and a master storyteller, engaging his congregants with lively and thoughtful sermons. He has been described as a bridge builder who loves to connect with members and people in the community.

 

Pastor Ben is married and has a son. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, storytelling, creating digital content, soccer and ping pong.
