Presbyterian Disaster Assistance – If you are interested in donating money to help in the relief effort following the terrible earthquake in Nepal, you can do so through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. You can go on-line to pcusa.org, and follow the directions there, or you can write a check to Westmont, mark it for Nepal Relief, and we will then forward that amount to PDA. Please be in prayer for the people of Nepal.
A Mid-week Bible study will begin on Thursday, May 14, at noon in the fellowship hall. All who are interested in attending are invited to bring a lunch with them, and the study will then begin around 12:15 or so. Rev. Miller will be leading the study on “The Parables in Luke.” We will meet weekly through July 9. All are welcome to come, and you’re encourage to bring friends!
ADULT BIBLE STUDY – This Sunday school class, led by Rev. Miller, concludes at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, May 10 in the Koinonia room. We are studying the Gospel of Matthew. All adults are invited to attend. Previous Bible study experience is not needed for this class.
Pine Springs “Redd-Up” Day will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 8:30 – 3:30. This is an opportunity for people throughout the presbytery to help the camp get ready for the summer camping season. Lunch is provided, but each group in attendance will be asked to bring something to share (chips, salad, dessert, etc.). Please speak with Rev. Miller if you are interested in participating.
Holy COWs - The Holy Christians Outwardly Witnessing group is for all the younger adults (with or without kids) in their 20s through 50s to get together on a regular basis to just have fun! Something new will pop up every month—some for couples only, some for families. For the month of May, we will be pitching in for "Redd-Up" Day at Pine Springs Camp!
